- This report analyses the impacts and costs of a predicted 1 metre sea-level rise on coastal wetland areas in East Asia and the Pacific, as well as North Africa and the Middle East. It discusses the importance of these areas and the causes of wetland loss and then goes on to provide figures for the amount of predicted wetland loss in a number of regions. It concludes by describing the economic losses that this wetland loss would cause. This report was published by the World Bank in 2012.
