    Dynamics of school and work in rural Bangladesh

    Description
    This report investigates the effect of work on the school progress of children in rural Bangladesh. They find that work has a negative effect on the progress that children make at school and propose that new policies are introduced in order to combat these problems. The report compares three suggested policies which involve: compulsory primary schooling, compulsory school entry at age six, and universal access to secondary school.
